Gordon was born and raised in East Malaysia and graduated from the University of York, specialising Film and Television Production.

After developing an interest as well as gaining some experience in film and motion picture work, he is currently attending post graduate study in Cinematography at MetFilm School in Ealing Studios, London to further develop his art and craft in cinematography.
